Our mission
Glow Academy exists to bridge the gap between raw talent and professional success in Zimbabwe’s entertainment industry & Overseas. We provide accessible, high-quality training in TV presenting, acting for TV, makeup artistry, modelling, and filmmaking that meets international standards while honouring our local context. Through expert instruction, hands-on practice, and industry-relevant curriculum, we equip students with the technical skills, confidence, and professional networks needed to build sustainable careers in media and entertainment across Zimbabwe and beyond.

Our story
Before Glow Academy, talented Zimbabweans struggled to access professional entertainment training. Dreams of television careers, film production, and runway success felt impossibly distant. Aspiring actors, presenters, and artists lacked the structured education, professional equipment, and expert guidance needed to compete.
After discovering Glow Academy, students gain immediate access to studio environments, industry-standard equipment, and instructors with real-world experience. Our hands-on approach transforms uncertainty into confidence, replacing guesswork with proven techniques that work on actual sets, runways, and productions.
Now, Glow Academy graduates command screens, stages, and film sets across Zimbabwe and across the world. They’ve built successful careers as television presenters, makeup artists for major productions, professional models, accomplished actors, and sought-after videographers. Our alumni prove that with proper training, Zimbabwean talent shines anywhere.
Our history
Glow Academy began in 2015 with a simple vision: make professional entertainment training accessible to ambitious Zimbabweans. From humble beginnings in a single training room. Glow Academy recognised the vast gap between Zimbabwe’s creative talent and the structured education needed to professionalise it.
Those early days meant teaching small groups with limited equipment, but the passion was boundless. Students hungry for legitimate training found a home where their dreams were taken seriously. Word spread quickly across Harare about the quality of instruction and the genuine career results students achieved.
We moved to our current Malbereign location at 3840 Sherwood Ave, expanding our studio space and investing in professional-grade equipment for all five programs. Each year brought new success stories as graduates secured television roles, modelling contracts, and film production clients.
Today, Glow Academy stands as Zimbabwe’s premier entertainment training institution, having equipped hundreds of students with the skills that transform passion into profession.
